"keep me please"

2023-ongoing

the original website is currently under construction

"the passed"

When entering the website you are greeted by a digital collage, made by scanned magazine clippings and personal stickers from my collection over the years. In the center is a gallery of photos of myself which slowly fade from one to the other.

"pleasures"

This page is a selection of photos and videos of some of my life's pleasures. Friends, family, pets, my favourite beach spot or memorable days. The media is accompanied by sporadic written texts of my thoughts on the after life and how I want to be remembered and "kept alive" after i've gone, aswell as a mixture of sounds playing from the different videos within the page. Ontop of that, ive drawn some illustrations, which are shapes I seem to have kept coming back to throughout my life.

"_gov"

Under the header "person", "_gov" is a page dedicated to what I would call general information about myself. Information which would be written in my passport and a few other things I consider crucial. The pages under the header "person" are meant to serve as factual representations of myself. They aim to represent me as a fuller character, incase someone would want to piece me back together.

"_body"

Under the header "person", "_body" is a page which documents noticeable features of and on my body. It references notable scars, freckles, beauty marks and tattoos. The images were partially taken by camera and partially through a handheld scanner.

"_sounds"

Under the header "person", "_sounds" is a page which archives the different sounds that come out of my body. This page could serve as a comfort for some after I've gone, but still mainly serve as a factual representation of myself and the sounds I can create, to paint a fuller picture of myself.

"pity party pictures"

This page is a collection of the photos taken at my "pity party" when I first exhibited the work at Extrapool in Nijmegen during my residency. The pity party served as a celebration of my life after I've passed, the photos are taken with filters built into the camera, designed to illicit whimsy. I would rather have this than a funeral.
